Katelyn Beck is a resident of Surry Country, NC. She is a mother of two children. Katelyn has enjoyed creative writing since she was thirteen years of age. She published her first YA Novel with America Star Books in July 2013. Why Me?  Her second YA Novel was published with America Star Books in August 2015, Why Me? II Changes for him, Changes for me. Her inspiration for the Why Me Series camre from her love for Young Adult fantasy novels and action adventured movies. The Why Me series was about a girl with gifts of the mind (mind-reader, telepathy, and many more gifts who went into battle with the leader of the gifted. She started writing the Choice series when she graduated from Surry Community College in 2015. The series has been an eight-year work in progress. She is Self-Publishing her newest Women’s Fiction, A Choice with A Promise to Keep in April 2023. The Choice was inspired by her college life with the unique twist. Katelyn has been very passionate about awareness of Human Trafficking. The series is completely fictional with the events and characters being made up.
